stays under your control.

Data stored

To provide parking records, 車咧 processes and stores the following on your device:

• Parking-location photos you take or choose.
• Optional floor, area and parking-space details.
• Record creation, parking start and parking end times.
• Optional parking rates, parking-currency preference, elapsed-time reminders, charge reminders, history retention and app language preferences.
• Payment QR-code photos you take or choose, and URLs recognized on the device as valid HTTPS URLs. Other decoded text is not written to persistent storage.
• Coordinates supplied by photo EXIF data or a one-time foreground location request that you allow when a photo has no valid GPS data or no photo is added.

On-device storage and backups

Data is stored in the 車咧 app sandbox and is not uploaded to servers operated by 車咧 or the developer.

Depending on your iOS, iCloud or computer backup settings, Apple may include app data in a device backup. “On-device storage” means that 車咧 does not create a cloud account or upload your data; it does not mean that data can never be included in an Apple device backup you enable.

Google Maps and third-party payment websites

“Directions to parking” appears only when a parking record contains valid coordinates. When you choose it, 車咧 places the parking coordinates in a Google Maps walking-directions URL.

車咧 does not provide the parking photo, floor, area, space or parking times. After you leave the app, processing is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

If you add a payment QR code, 車咧 decodes it on your device and immediately saves the photo. “Open payment website” appears when the result has a valid HTTPS URL format. The URL is provided to the browser only after you tap the action and confirm that you want to leave 車咧. HTTPS indicates an encrypted connection, not that 車咧 has verified the website; make sure the displayed site is provided by the car park. The parking operator or payment service processes any information you enter there. 車咧 does not process payments, read or store payment results, or guarantee the content, rate or availability of a third-party website.

System permissions

• Camera and photos: Used only when you take or choose a parking-location photo or payment QR code. Parking-photo text is recognized on the device to suggest editable area and space values; the photo and recognized text are not uploaded to developer-operated servers.
• Location: The app asks for foreground location permission on first launch. It prefers photo coordinates when a photo is present; it reads the current position once only when a photo has no valid GPS data, or when you tap “Start timer” without a photo. 車咧 does not request continuous access or track location in the background.
• Notifications: Requested only when you enable elapsed-time or charge reminders and used to schedule local notifications. Notifications open the app and never open a third-party payment website directly. Denying permission does not prevent you from recording parking details, photos or times.

You can revoke or change camera, photo, location and notification permissions at any time from the 車咧 page in iOS Settings. Revoking a permission disables only the optional features that depend on it. Existing on-device records are not deleted automatically and can be removed as described below.

Retention and deletion

In Settings, you can keep history forever, for 30 days, or not at all. Deleting a history record also removes its parking data, parking-location photo, payment-code photo and stored payment URL.

Removing the app deletes its data from the device. Existing iCloud or computer backup copies must be managed in the relevant system backup settings.

Sharing and tracking

車咧 does not sell data, create advertising profiles, show advertising or track you across apps.

Parking data is not provided to third parties except when you request Google Maps directions, confirm opening a third-party payment website, or use Apple system backup services that you control.

車咧 does not integrate advertising, analytics or other third-party SDKs that continuously access parking data. Google Maps, Apple system services and any website you choose to open protect the data they process under their own privacy policies and applicable laws. If you do not accept an external service’s policy, you can choose not to use that optional feature.
